Lakota Iron Wolf (Cane Corso) My canine soul mate

My loving companion, the Guardian.  From the first day we saw her frolicking with her 14 siblings, we knew she was special.  She picked us.  Altho she was busy running and playing she would on occasion take her little break from the pack and stick her big, cold, wet puppy nose in my hand and run off and play some more.  Two days later we brought her home with us and "Tweety" had a new sister.

To this day we know that we have been blessed with a great love that a dog can ever give a human soul.  She is protective, beautiful, has a big, generous heart in the things she will share with us and her sister....toys....food....if she has it, it's yours for the taking.   Constantly loves to play and always my shadow.  The farm she considers her's.  The horses are her charge and she does her job well.  But don't let that puppyness of her's fool you.  All 135 pounds of brawn and muscle will go full alert if she feels her farm and loved ones are being threatened.  She is a true Guardian in every sense of the word.

Lakota has excelled in her canine classes.  Having gone thru and graduated with flying colors in Puppy Headstart, Terrible Teens, Finishing School, Competition Obedience and one of our favorites Rally-O!  We hope to one day soon get her started in tracking!  Alot of goings on for one "little puppy"!

 Puppy's first day at home

Too much playtime makes for a tired little girl.

Renewed energy to play around the pond.
