Our pond feature is one of our busiest places in the spring and summer. Flourishing with wildlife and nature. This small pond is enough to satisfy the eco life around the farm and invite little "guests" to visit. It is home to several green frogs, damsel and dragon flies and many other creatures. Purple Iris abound as well as other pond plants. It is home to one of my favorite fish, Orandas and Comets. They are very friendly fish and we've trained them to come up to us for hand fed treats. Due to the constant visiting of New Jersey's famous gray Heron, to our other ponds we've had to downscale our fish count. We have also found that on a smaller scale, pondkeeping is for us!

Starting up in early spring. Dwarf Lilly Pads are starting to peek their little leaves above the water line. A small fountain helps to aeriate the water.

Beginning of summer, flowers starting to shoot up, fish are active and we add water Hyacinths for more oxygen and plant variety.
